Getting started
Do I really not have to enter any stats?
Correct — the whole point is voice. After a hole, tap the mic and recap it like you would to a playing partner: clubs, lies, distances, and results. Aftershot understands golf and extracts the shots for you. You can edit any shot afterward if it heard you wrong, but most rounds need zero touch-ups.
What if I forget to record a hole?
No problem. Recap any hole later — at the turn, in the parking lot, or the next morning. The app prompts you for holes you missed and you can talk through them just like the rest.
My round is still processing
Voice notes upload and transcribe in the background, and they sync the moment you're back in cell or Wi-Fi service. If a round seems stuck for more than a few minutes with a good connection, open Settings → Sync & Recovery and tap the resync option, or email us and we'll take a look.

Editing a shot or score
Open the round, tap the hole, and tap any shot or stat to correct it. Your edits always win — Aftershot won't overwrite something you've entered or changed by hand.
A stat looks wrong
Most stat surprises trace back to a mis-heard shot on a specific hole — open that hole and check the shots first. If a number still looks off after that, email us the round and what you expected to see.
Subscriptions & billing
Free vs. Pro
Aftershot Free lets you track a few rounds a month with voice capture, core stats, and AI takeaways on every round. Aftershot Pro unlocks unlimited rounds, strokes-gained vs. your handicap peers, Your Game Plan, the weekly mental cue, and unlimited Coach. Pro is available monthly or annually — see current pricing in the app or on the App Store.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every Pro plan — monthly and annual — starts with a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then at no cost.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID, so you manage them in the App Store, not in Aftershot: open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Aftershot, or tap Manage subscription in Aftershot's Settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal or trial-end date to avoid the next charge.
I paid but Pro isn't showing up
Open Settings → Restore purchases in the app. That re-checks your Apple ID and re-activates Pro. If it still doesn't appear, email us the Apple ID email you purchased with and we'll sort it out.
Refunds
Because billing runs through Apple, refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong on our end, email us first — we'll help.
Your data & account
Deleting your account or data
You can delete individual recordings, rounds, or notes from within the app at any time. To delete your whole account, use the option in the app's settings or email hello@aftershotgolf.com. We delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days.
